I was talking to one of my landlords the other day, when he explained there were no property bargains for him to buy in Manchester. We don’t sell property and don’t charge for our advice, but we can give impartial advice without any conflict of interest to our landlords. Here is what I discovered recently about finding bargains that I had discovered over the last few months.

The M23 postcode district lies within or includes part of the following towns, counties, localities, electoral wards and stations: Baguley, Brooklands, Manchester, Northenden, Roundthorn Industrial Estate, Sale Moor Village, Wythenshawe.

A 3 Bed Terrace House on Kennet Road sold in  May 2018 for £107 000. The same property sold again for £100,000, a drop-in value of 9.3%!

A 3-bed town house on Rissington Avenue, sold for £130000 in August this year. When it sold for £135,000 in 2009, these are excellent value properties.

Finally, one of those nice 2 bed apartments, in Sir Williams Court on Hall lane, sold for £81000 in 2002  Considering property values are increasing and have a CAGR of 36.63% over the last 5 years), some lucky person picked up a bargain in August, when it sold again  for £97000.
